Baby Buddies
Welcome to Baby Buddies, the newest addition to the Swimming Buddies family!
Our inclusive Saturday morning baby classes at Fleming Fulton School, Belfast are specially designed as a safe space for all little ones aged 0–48 months and run from 9:30-11.30am.
Water offers a unique therapeutic environment. Our Baby Buddies benefit from the warmth of a 30°C pool, where gentle movement in the water provides comfort, stimulation and support for development. Each session builds confidence, strengthens bodies, and promotes social and emotional bonds between caregiver and child.
We believe every child is unique, which is why our sessions are led by Birthlight and Makaton qualified instructor Laura and inclusive of all needs. You don't need to be a competent swimmer to bring your baby, so everyone can enjoy songs, rhymes, techniques and play using pool toys handpicked to boost development.
Babies explore at their own pace and we meet them where they are. Baby Buddies is about much more than water confidence – it’s about building a nurturing community. Families will find support, connection, and joy in a safe and therapeutic space.

Where: Fleming Fulton School
When: Saturdays between 9:30–11:30am
Age Groups: 0–18 months & 18–48 months
Duration: 30-minute sessions
Costs: £15 per session (booked in blocks) + £20 registration fee
What to Bring: Swim Nappy with a Happy Nappy over the top (essential for pool hygiene, buy here) and a towel for poolside to keep your Baby Buddie warm afterwards
